The Minairons are tiny mythical beings from the Pyrenean tradition, capable of carrying out any task assigned to them. According to legend, they were kept inside a small container and, once opened, they had to be given work immediately — otherwise, their unstoppable energy could turn dangerous. When accidentally released, they were ordered to gather and pile up stones, giving rise to the scree slopes and dry-stone walls of the Pyrenees.

Inspired by these legendary creatures — though completely harmless — CaMinairons was created to help you discover the mountains with a certified mountain guide.

We offer guided experiences in Catalonia including hiking, snowshoeing, via ferrata, and canyoning. Each activity is led by a professional mountain guide who will enrich your adventure with insights into local wildlife, flora, geology, and mountain culture.

And the “Minairó” who will guide you is me, Arcadi Cornadó Royo, a certified mountain guide and canyoning guide, with more than 15 years of experience organizing hiking routes, camps, and outdoor activities — first on a voluntary basis and now professionally.

Originally trained as a physical education teacher, I am also a leisure activity instructor, a traditional human tower member, and passionate about almost every mountain sport imaginable. I will accompany you on your hiking, via ferrata, and canyoning adventures with enthusiasm and good humor.

As your mountain guide, I will share local legends and stories, help you identify plants and trees along the trail, discover animal tracks, and understand mountain formation through rocks and geology.

All experiences are guided with a strong commitment to environmental education and deep respect for nature and people.

Like the Minairons, I will support you in every step of your adventure: from preparing the activity and overcoming challenging sections to reaching summits and personal goals through canyoning and via ferrata routes. All while learning to better understand and appreciate the land we explore.

I offer a calendar of guided mountain activities, including night hikes, sunset excursions, midday routes with wine tasting, off-the-beaten-path trails, dry and aquatic canyoning routes, and beginner to advanced via ferrata experiences.

You can also request tailor-made adventures, hiring a mountain guide to accompany you on a specific summit or chosen itinerary.

I also collaborate with the mountain shop Skaditreks in Tarragona, organizing outdoor activities and experiences.
